How do I calculate the number of full time equivalent (FTE) employees?
Count the aggregate # of hours worked In a month for employees who were not full time (but not more than 120 hours of service for any employee) and dividing that number by 120. Fractions are taken into account for these computations.
Once the # of FTEs are determined for each month, these numbers are then averaged over 12 months. This number is rounded down to the nearest whole number.

In the final step, you may round down the final number to the nearest whole number. In this case the number would be 49 so this group would NOT be subject to the employer mandate.
